WW - Rolex Oyster Perpetual Datejust, ref 1603, circa 1970, 36mm x 43mm to lug tips, 20mm lug width, stainless steel screw back Oyster case with 14K yellow gold fluted bezel, the case back appears to be from a different earlier model as the date code doesn't line up with the case serial number, original two-tone stainless steel and 14K yellow gold oval link Rolex USA Jubilee bracelet, original champagne dial with applied gold baton indices, date aperture at 3, 26J cal 1570, s#2163514, triple signed, inside back ref 1601 with a date code of IV.67.
CONDITION:
Mvt: Running, fine-plus cosmetic mvt condition overall, light oxide to steelwork, rotor with ample spotting and discoloration, wear to brass along plate and rotor edge; excellent-plus dial with very light surface spotting, aftermarket replacement date wheel; excellent gold stick hands; polished case shows little wear, light dings on the backs of the lugs from being worn on a bracelet as well as improper use of a case wrench; original signed crown shows very little wear, good threads; good crystal; resealed for auction.
